Rate it! Love it!

Tuesday, March 30th, 2010 is a great site for affordable and quick invitations. All their invitations are created by indie designers which they find through “design challenges” held throughout the year. I just entered my first design submission for the “Here Comes Spring” Birth Announcement Challenge.

This sweet design was created for a custom client last year but I thought it would be perfect for this challenge.

All grown up!

It seems like yesterday that I created a baby announcement for little Anderson Brown. Well he just turned 1 in October and his parents threw him a halloween costume first birthday party. I illustrated a lil’ pumpkin for the occasion.

In case you’re wondering, little Andy dressed up as a bumble bee.

Don’t wipe your mouth on these

For our rehearsal dinner invitation I wanted to deviate from our weddng theme a bit to separate the event. I used the colors of the event space (green and khaki) at the El Dorado Hotel and created a napkin invitation.

I silk-screened our monogram and the event details onto a gingham cloth square and had my sister-in-law finish the edges on the sewing machine. I folded the napkin in thirds and tucked them into craft brown envelopes.

Showered with Love

As every bride knows, weddings/engagements equal lots of thank you card writing. For our joint shower, I created these thank you cards from the both of us.

This is also now available in the Jenuine Paper Etsy Store, (sold in packs of 8).
